Sony's specification gives "33.8/37.5 MHz" — one figure for each mode the processor runs in, PlayStation compatibility and native I/O — and a single measurement cannot carry two operating points without inventing a distinction between them that the source does not make. The lower figure is the original PlayStation's clock, rounded from 33.8688 MHz.
