Editorial notes
It has no geometry stage of its own: transform and lighting run on the Emotion Engine's vector units, and the Graphics Synthesizer receives primitives that are already projected. Sony's drawing-rate figure of 75 million polygons per second is not recorded as a measurement, because the catalog has no polygon-rate metric.
